1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Code Realms (the "App") handles personal data. JSO Labs is the developer and data controller. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to jsolabs@hotmail.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account and profile: email, display name, birth date if provided, profile photo if you add one, and authentication identifiers from your sign-in provider.
• Learning activity: progress, completed challenges, scores, streaks, preferences, language track, rewards, and weekly league participation.
• Device, advertising, and security: app and device information, language, IP address, advertising or device identifiers, ad interactions, and integrity/security signals processed by Google services.
• Purchases: subscription status and transaction identifiers as provided by app stores or payment processors (we do not store full payment card numbers).

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use data to provide and improve the App, personalize learning, secure accounts, communicate about your account, comply with law, and analyze aggregate usage. Depending on your region, we rely on contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security and improvement, balanced against your rights), consent where required, and legal obligation where applicable.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Code Realms uses Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, and App Check for accounts, cloud progress, profile photos, and service security; Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) for advertising; and Google Play Billing for subscriptions and purchases. These providers process data under their own privacy terms. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users, rights, and service security. 5. International transfers

We may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) or rely on adequacy decisions.

6. Retention

Account, profile, and learning data are retained while the account is active. After an account-deletion request, we delete or anonymize associated data unless limited retention is required for fraud prevention, disputes, accounting, or legal compliance. Encrypted backups may retain copies temporarily until their normal overwrite cycle.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, use in-app tools where available or contact us as described in the App listing or this site.

9. Children

Users must meet the minimum age applicable in their region or have parent/guardian authorization where legally required. Advertising requests are configured conservatively for child-directed and under-age-of-consent treatment with a maximum G content rating. Contact us if you believe a child provided data without valid authorization.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Mobile apps may use local storage and similar technologies for login sessions and preferences. Our websites, if any, may use cookies as described in any separate cookie notice.

11. Changes and contact
